Farzin Entesarian
Mr. Farzin Entesarian was born in Amiriyeh, Tehran on December 1946. At the age of 22, he graduated from Amir Kabir University (formerly Polytechnic) with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and immediately started his industrial activities.
He founded his first company for delivering services on ship and vessels` repair and maintenance. So far, he has established and then developed more than 15 companies and institutes in various professional fields, each is famous in its respected industry.
Mr. Entesarian is the first Iranian expert who was certified by international agencies to carry out marine and cargo inspection. It is worth mentioning that very few Iranians have been able to internationally qualify by top international organizations.
It is an honor for Iranian community to mention that Farzin Entesarian is also the first Iranian to be certified as the lead auditor.
Planning for holding an international quality management conference was one of his concerns regarding quality introduction and development in Iran and so, five rounds of this conference was held with the cooperation of Iran National Standards Organization and Quality Management Society of Iran.
As the chairman of QMS, he was responsible for the design and administration of Iran National Quality Award. Nearly, most companies with quality management systems are members of this society.
Entesarian is one of the founding members of Audit and Inspection Society of Iran in which, most large inspection companies have representatives.
As one of the old members of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Entesarian is member of different commissions and joint-chambers of commerce, including Iran-Emirates Chamber of Commerce and hence, has participated in various projects including The Organization of National Societies and The Establishment of Business System in Commerce and Manufacturing
He is a member of the Central Council of the Confederation of Iranian Industry which is planning and implementing the industrial development plan in the country and revision of structures of industrial societies.
Export Quality Management Task Force in Trade Promotion Organization, in which Mr. Entesarian is a member, is composed of representatives of organizations effective on Export department and works under the supervision of the Supreme Export Council for Trade Development.
Entesarian is the only Iranian representative in the Technical Committee 176 (TC176) of the International Organization for Standardization ISO / TC176, which is responsible for the development of management standards, especially the ISO9000 series.
